My toddler only eats beige food. Should I worry?

Usually not, if they’re growing well and have energy. Keep offering other foods alongside the safe ones. Speak to your health visitor if the list of foods they accept is getting shorter.

Is it too late to apply for a reception place?

No. Applications for September 2027 in England close on 15 January 2027. You can apply online through your local council.

Do I really need a baby monitor?

Not if your baby sleeps in your room, which the NHS advises for the first six months. Many parents add one later when the baby moves to their own room.
